Kwak Jae Yong
The Korean director and screenwriter majored in physics at Kyung Hee University. In 2001, he won the Best Adapted Screenplay Award at the 39th Korean Film Awards for the romantic comedy “My Sassy Girl.” In 2003, he was nominated for Best Director at the 24th Korean Blue Dragon Film Awards for his self-written and directed romance “If Love Has Heaven.” His notable works also include “My Tutor Friend” and “My Girlfriend Is a Robot.”
